⚖️ The rules every writer and reviewer follows before anything in this workspace goes live. These exist because the PRD explicitly asks for a "rich, correct knowledge base" (Section 5.16) — correctness is the whole SEO strategy, not a nice-to-have.
Non-negotiables
- Never copy. Every lesson is written from scratch in KoraSpace's own words. External sources are referenced and linked, never reproduced.
- Never invent a statistic. Every number in published content must trace to a source in the Resource Library database, or be KoraSpace's own verified data.
- Never claim a KoraSpace screen exists without checking it. Product references are marked with a "Last checked" date and re-verified before each publish.
- Never give unqualified legal, medical or financial advice. Where a topic touches these (e.g. ARCON/NDPA in Nigeria, Academy 07 and 11), content is clearly framed as education, not advice, with a suggestion to confirm with a professional.
- Never publish an unreviewed AI draft. Every lesson passes a human review, following the same principle taught in Module 41 and 43.
Fact-check tiers
- Tier 1 — must verify before publishing: any statistic, any claim about a specific platform feature or algorithm, any claim about KoraSpace's own product, any legal/regulatory claim (ARCON, NDPA).
- Tier 2 — verify if it's central to the lesson's argument: general marketing best practices, historical claims about platform behavior.
- Tier 3 — general knowledge, light verification: widely-known concepts (what is a KPI, what is a funnel).
Source hierarchy (who to trust, in order)
- Official platform documentation — Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, YouTube Creator Academy, Google Skillshop/Search Central
- Established marketing education platforms — HubSpot Academy, Ahrefs Academy, Semrush Academy
- Respected industry research and publications — DataReportal/Kepios, Sprout Social Index, Content Marketing Institute, Social Media Examiner
- KoraSpace's own PRD and product — for anything about KoraSpace itself, cross-check against koraspace.site as the live source
- General blogs and aggregators — usable for ideas and context, never as the sole source for a stated fact Avoid: forums, unverified social posts, and any source whose information can't be dated or traced to an author/organization.
The "Last checked" convention
Every module that references specific platform features or KoraSpace screens carries a Last checked: [date] note in its opening callout. When reviewing or updating a module, update this date. If a fact has changed, update the lesson and note it in the Fact-check flags section of the Start Here page if it affects multiple modules.
Writing style rules
- Plain language over jargon; when a term is necessary, define it on first use
- One concrete example per teaching point (this workspace already follows this — keep it consistent in any new content)
- Nigerian/African examples where natural, since that's KoraSpace's primary market — but don't force it where a global example fits better
- Never claim a fictional KoraSpace metric as if it were real product data unless explicitly marked as an illustrative example (as PRD Section 6.5's "87/100" and Section 6.11's funnel numbers are — both are the PRD's own worked examples, not live data)
Review workflow
- Draft written following this page's rules
- Reviewer checks against the Fact-check tiers above
- Reviewer checks all Tier 1 claims against the Resource Library
- Status set to Reviewed in the module's own notes (add a simple status line if your team wants formal tracking)
- Publishing team applies the SEO & Publishing Playbook before the article goes live
When in doubt
If a claim can't be verified and isn't essential to the lesson's teaching point, cut it rather than publish it unverified. A shorter, fully accurate lesson is worth more — for both trust and SEO — than a longer one with an unverified claim.
